The most definitive text of these is, Cargo Cult: Strange Stories of Desire from Melanesia and Beyond, by Lamont Lindstrom. as to the others, they primarily cover the area of the south pacific in respects to vacation and travel information, or in the case of Theroux's book, adventure. the sections are brief and included as asides, human interest in nature. there is quite a bit of editorializing and there is no real documentation to the sources, aside from Lindstrom. combined they do give an overview of general, 'facts' about jon frum.
